Join us at Saint Barnabas as we embark on a musical journey like no other while inaugurating your Salt River Brass’ 44th season.  Under the inspired baton of our world-class Music Director, Julie Desbordes, this concert promises an afternoon of brass brilliance.  As Saint Barnabas on the Desert opens its doors to us, you'll be welcomed into a sacred space that perfectly complements the resonant and immersive tones of brass. The collaboration with the stellar organist Michael Salazar adds an extra layer of richness to your experience.  The program promises a diverse selection, ranging from classical masterpieces (including Bach and Strauss) to modern exciting compositions (John Williams), all brought to life through the exceptional artistry of the SRB musicians.  Whether you're a seasoned brass enthusiast or a newcomer to the genre, "Brass Harmony" guarantees an unforgettable experience!

Legends on November 10, 2024 at Mesa Arts Center

On November 10, 2024, join us at the beautiful Ikeda Theater at the Mesa Arts Center for a musical salute to the heroes who have served our nation with focused dedication as we present "Legends," a special concert dedicated to Veterans Day.  We are honored to welcome back to the state “The President’s Own” Marine Band guest euphonium soloist Gunnery Sergeant Hiram Diaz, with his unparalleled skillset and contagious passion.  "Legends" will not only showcase the exceptional talents of the SRB but will also pay homage to the legendary men and women who have served in our Armed Forces. The program will feature iconic pieces that echo the valor and sacrifice of our veterans, creating a musical tapestry that tells their stories.  Together, let us salute the legends who have shaped our history and continue to inspire us all!

Winter Wonderland on December 15, 2024 at Mesa Arts Center

At the Ikeda Theater, let the spirit of the season come alive as we present "Winter Wonderland," a magical brass band concert in collaboration with the Phoenix Children’s Chorus! Spring calls for a celebration! Join us for an afternoon that promises to be a musical love letter to the heart and soul.  With the return of the enchanting singer, Carol Fitzpatrick, this special event also features an exciting collaboration with the Salt River Youth Brass Band and the talent of young musicians in the Valley. The collaboration with the youth brass band brings a fresh perspective and energy to the stage, showcasing the talent and passion of the next generation of musicians. The return of beloved soprano Carol Fitzpatrick adds an extra layer of magic to the afternoon. Her enchanting voice will create an atmosphere that is both intimate and grand. "Love Poems" invites you to immerse yourself in a symphony of emotions, where the notes of brass and the lyrics of love blend in perfect harmony.
